Edward has managed ClimateCare’s development since 2007, providing financial rigour and strategic direction across all of our programmes and activities.
Edward works closely with our in-country teams to structure finance and strategic partnerships for our global sustainable development projects. He advises banks, international development finance institutions and governments to help enable sustainable development at scale.
Tom leads our ClimateCare Africa Office, the centre of our Project Development, Research and Consultancy work.
His team specialise in delivering environmental and social development outcomes and, under Tom’s leadership, ClimateCare has won numerous project development awards. From clean cooking to renewable energy, Tom’s team are world experts at devising and delivering successful projects that create cost effective outcomes and leave a lasting legacy.
Tom’s team also provide research and consultancy services to development agencies, governments and NGOs, advising on clean energy, climate change mitigation and sustainable development policy.
Rob oversees our partnership programmes. Engaging with corporates, governments and entrepreneurs to meet their business, environmental and social development goals.
Rob ensures our programmes work for our partners, are outcome-focused and deliver measurable results for their business as well as people and the environment.
Rob hold a degree in Business Administration and is currently studying a postgraduate certificate in sustainable development with the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London in his spare time. Rob is chair of the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA).
Komal works with corporates across India to design, implement and report CSR programmes that deliver measurable social and environmental impacts.
She also helps international businesses deliver effective sustainability programmes within India, both through scaling existing projects and developing bespoke programmes.
Komal has over 10 years’ experience in the fields of climate change, sustainability and CSR. Being an MBA as well as a certified CSR professional means that she brings valuable insights for clients, helping them deliver world leading CSR programmes that also create real value for their business.
Tom has worked in the fields of energy and environment for over 30 years. Tom works closely with project developers across Sub-Saharan Africa to advise on effective funding mechanisms that deliver social and environmental outcomes at scale.
He leads a number of research and consultancy projects advising Governments and international organisations on effective climate policy and actions to deliver sustainable development.
Tom was a lead author on the second national communication report on climate change for the Kenyan government and is a member of the Gold Standard Foundation Energy TAC, where he helps to ensure that Gold Standard projects make substantial contributions towards sustainable development.
Stella helps our clients to manage their environmental impacts, advising on actions to measure, report and reduce. She devises and oversees Climate+Care programmes to cut carbon and improve lives, ensuring these deliver against our clients targets.
Her technical understanding helps our clients select the most appropriate programmes to meet their goals. She is also closely involved with robustly measuring and reporting the positive impacts delivered. Previously, Stella worked in the travel industry and she holds an MA in Tourism and Sustainability from the University of the West of England.
With expertise across sustainability, carbon measurement and impact assessment, Joash applies his technical skills to measure, monitor and verify the impacts delivered through our projects, ensuring compliance with global standards, successful delivery and robust reporting of outcomes.
With a background in environmental consultancy, Joash also provides expert research and consultancy services to government agencies and sustainable development organisations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies.
Lizzy is an expert in the carbon markets. She helps our partners procure carbon credits quickly, efficiently and cost effectively through projects which match their requirements and pass our strict assessment criteria.
With a Geography BA, specialising in biodiversity and climatology from the University of Oxford, Lizzy also holds a MA in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London. During this time she produced the first ever survey of the voluntary carbon market, with the International Institute for Environment and Development and during her time at ClimateCare, has been actively involved in the generation of robust, credible standards for the voluntary carbon market.
Audrey helps identify the perfect projects for our partners to support. With 10 years’ experience in the environmental and carbon sectors, Audrey ensures the programmes we create for clients match their brand and location requirements, can deliver the required environmental and social impacts, and are well managed.
Audrey also has extensive knowledge of carbon reduction and management techniques having worked at the Carbon Trust helping corporate clients with carbon management. Audrey completed an MSc in Architecture: Advanced Environmental & Energy Studies with the Centre for Alternative Technology in 2010.
Rhiannon helps clients devise effective communications strategies that maximise the value of their ClimateCare programme.
A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Rhiannon has over 16 years’ communications experience across business, government and non-profit sectors.
She holds a degree in International Agriculture and Business Management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing. She has previously shaped communications strategies for WRAP, the Royal Agricultural Society of England and the Countryside Agency and for sustainable behaviour change campaigns including Love Food Hate Waste, Recycle Now and Halve Waste to Landfill.
Eugene identifies and applies the most effective financial mechanisms, structures and investment models for our programmes, to enable us to deliver positive social and environmental impacts at scale.
Applying over 30 years of experience across banking, finance and independent consultancy, Eugene has successfully managed the finance for projects and companies at a variety of scales, providing expert advice to companies in all stages of development from entrepreneurial start-ups to established companies. Eugene is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Sophie leads our client team, advising our corporate partners on how to deploy social and environmental investment strategies that help to balance their impacts and help them meet their wider corporate responsibility goals.
Sophie has over 25 years’ experience in the corporate communications and sustainability sector, operating across UK, Europe and Asia Pacific. During that time she spent 15 years as a senior leader in global PR consultancies focusing on reputation management and media strategy, has worked in-house at Microsoft UK developing their first sustainability strategy, and has advised a wide range of global brands and smaller organisations on their sustainability strategy, CSR policy and environmental communications.
Sophie’s advisory experience spans the technology, food and drink, sustainable agriculture, finance and renewable energy sectors. Sophie holds an MSc in Climate Change and Development from The University of Reading.
Oliver helps our clients take ownership of their environmental and social impacts by identifying activities that will have a positive influence in the areas they operate. Co-ordinating expertise across our Oxford and Nairobi teams he helps create programmes that deliver value for people, the planet and your organisation.
Oliver holds an MA in sustainable development with Forum for the Future and BSc in Environmental Geoscience from The University of Edinburgh. A keen explorer, Oliver has also undertaken a number of scientific expeditions in the Himalayas. Both his studies and his expeditions have given him a deep appreciation of the wide ranging environmental and sustainability challenges facing businesses today, as well as some of the solutions.
Hollie helps partners tell their story across digital channels, and focusses on finding the most innovative ways to demonstrate the impact of their Climate+Care programmes. With a varied skillset and a particular interest in keeping up-to-date on the latest Digital Marketing trends and technologies, Hollie helps our partners bring their programmes to life to engage employees and stakeholders alike.
Hollie holds a degree in Business Management and Marketing from Cardiff University, and has experience in working both in-house and agency side. She brings this experience together to ensure every element of a communications programme exactly meets the requirements of our partners and has maximum impact.
Working with our team of expert project developers, Elizabeth’s analytical, technical and project management skills ensure successful delivery of our Climate+Care projects and bespoke project development for donors and our partners. With experience of managing renewable energy projects, expertise across carbon asset development and environmental management of water and forestry resources, Elizabeth has previously worked with organisations including Viability Africa and Carbon Africa.
She is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Environmental Planning and Management at the University of Nairobi. She also holds a National Environmental Management Authority EIA/EA Associate certification.
Sarah has worked in the environmental space for over ten years, and for six of those with ClimateCare. Working in the Finance Department as assistant to the Finance Director, Sarah provides financial rigour around the key control processes of the company. She works closely with all departments to ensure timely and accurate information is available to aid in management decisions. Additionally, Sarah helps to maintain HR functions and undertakes key adhoc roles, ensuring the smooth running of the business.
George supports our partners in delivering their carbon offset requirements. Alongside the ClimateCare team, he works closely with businesses to help deliver social and environmental outcomes that are tailored to their operational remits and CSR strategies.
George recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Geography, where he stood as President of Oxford Energy Society. With a strong interest in environmental politics, he is engaged with the ever growing opportunities for organisations to integrate social and environmental outcomes into their core operations.
